The European Banking Authority confirmed that it had been currently finalising its impact assessment on the implementation of Basel III, in response to the European Commission's call for advice it received on 4 May 2018. The EBA´s first findings will be published by the end of July 2019. The EBA is also going to consult the quantitative findings and its main policy recommendations at a public hearing on the 2nd July 2019.
