On 22nd November 2019 the European Banking Authority (EBA) commenced a public consultation on the draft Implementing Technical Standard (ITS) on disclosure and reporting of the minimum requirement for own funds and eligible liabilities (MREL) and the total loss absorbency requirement (TLAC). By the integration of reporting and disclosure the EBA seeks to reach high efficiency by institutions. The document contains the proposal of the required and recommended templates, and a file mapping disclosure and reporting requirements. TLAC disclosure templates are aligned with the Basel Pillar 3 standards.
The consultation runs until 22nd February 2020.
